Established in La Chapelle Saint Laurent since 1983, the name of the company comes from the river Saint Laurent in Canada. This river freezes over in winter, allowing the dog sleds to cross the river.

Their daily food rations are frozen due to the winter temperatures and therefore they eat their meat frozen. In the beginning, we only delivered quarters of beef to zoos and circuses. Then we delivered it in individual portions. Now, we have a range of products for carnivores of other species too. Since 2007, we have expanded our range with dry food and food supplements for animals such as birds, primates, herbivores, carnivores…

We also offer a wide range of equipment for zoos and other customers, from the smallest items (fencing staples, feeding tubes…) via capture and falconry equipment to the largest items (incubators, brooders…). Our customer base is very varied.

At the heart of our clientele are zoos, but also vivariums, aquariums, rescue centres, circuses, breeders and private customers. More than just a supplier, we want to provide a service and this is the concept that we are always looking to develop further.
